Radiant Rose Windows

Throughout Christian history, cathedrals and churches have used stained glass to glorify God. The Rose Window is a type of stained glass using the symmetry and beauty of radial design to bring the worshipper closer to heaven. In this class, we will learn about the rose window as an inspiration for our rose window painting. I taught acrylic color wheel and radial design painting for years in the art room. We will learn how to create a unique design and will practice color theory before learning to paint our windows. With dedication and concentration, I always had fantastic results from all levels of students with this project.

Some work may need to be done at home in this class. The class will meet for 5 Saturday mornings from July 19th to Aug 16th. If you are able to help us with a $25 supply fee, we are grateful.
