Isaiah 9:6 prophesied of our coming Lord, saying,
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
This Christmas, as we consider and celebrate the birth of our Savior, I wanted to dedicate this short project to learning more about why Jesus is called our “Prince of Peace” and what He made possible by coming to this earth as a baby to live and die for us. In our lesson we will learn from scripture the answers to these questions and then create a simple painting of the nativity using watercolor and acrylic paint. The project takes place on Thursday, December 11th from 9am-11:00am.
