Welcome to the beautiful space of Christian Coaching- where we partner with God to heal and grow and come into His will and purpose for our lives! We all face times in our lives when we need some support and a helping hand. Whether we’re struggling with a relationship, our work, our mental health, a major loss, or even our purpose and passion, we could all benefit from Godly wisdom and compassion. This is my main purpose as a coach- to help bring God’s love and wisdom to your particular circumstance so that you can heal and grow and flourish by the power of His Spirit. To me, this is truly a rewarding labor of love.
That said, I would like to explain a little more about what coaching is and isn’t. Coaching is special and distinct from licensed professional counseling. It is a certificate-based field and does not diagnose mental illness. If I feel that your situation requires such care, I will refer you to a licensed counselor who is better equipped to help you. Coaching does not dig deep into the past as therapy might but rather is forward focused, using goal setting and practical tools to help in the process of life transformation. Christian coaching is a powerful way to bring God into our life situations and work with Him to discover His path for our lives.
In my faith and hope to serve you in love, I have trained for over 135 hours to become a board-certified Master Mental Health and Life Coach, with deeper study in areas of specialization including Marriage and Family, Addictions Recovery, and Grief and Loss through Light University, the educational institution of the American Association of Christian Counselors. I am also studying at Lamar University to get my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to one day become a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am grateful to get to coach as I continue to learn and grow in my skills to serve.
I have had a passion for teaching and counsel for as long as I can remember. This training in coaching has been a priceless discovery and experience in my life. I can’t wait to share it with you!
